I have look at those images below that inspired me of the design with text and colour. They were clearly show the texts even were complementary colour as they have put a plain, separate layer between background and texts so both of them stand out but also match to each other.For this project, image 1 and 2 gave me a direction of scale and typeface and also a logo style to quote the information.
